Cable Strain Relief Bushings

 (3 product groups)

Snub bushings, also referred to as a snubber or cable snubber, is a crucial component found in electrical systems. Its primary purpose is to absorb sudden voltage spikes, transients, or rapid changes in current. By doing so, it safeguards sensitive electronic equipment from potential damage caused by these electrical disturbances.

Fibre Strain Relief Boots, on the other hand, play a protective role for wires and fibre cables, especially around rough panel hole edges during both installation and usage. They're incredibly user-friendly and require no additional tools for installation.

Meanwhile, a strain relief bushing, a specialized electrical component, secures and shields cables or wires as they pass through an enclosure or panel. This serves several pivotal functions.

Snub Bushings

Snub Bushings open to accept cables, wires and tubing. Once installed into a panel hole, the bushing firmly closes.

The durable material provides insulation and slight strain relief, while helping to protect the housed wires and cables from raw edges.

Strain Relief Bushings

Strain Relief Bushings help protect electronic products by absorbing the force of pull, push and twist that may be exerted on a flexible power cord. The bushing securely protects wires and cables at the point of entry.

They are suitable for double, flat and round cables, and for mounting in round and anti-rotational holes.

Quick and easy to install. Simply position the bushing on the cable and press the ends of the bushing together with an installation tool (sold separately), then push into the hole.

Strain Relief Bushings - Fiber Boot

Fibre Strain Relief Boots protect wires and fibre cables from rough panel hole edges during installation and use. Very easy to install - no tools are needed.

These boots provide added protection to 900 micron fibre, while routing cables and wires through a hole. They also limit the angle of the fibre cable, which can help reduce signal loss. This is a huge time and cost-saving.

  • Material: Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)
  • Color: Black
