Cable Grommets

 (28 product groups)

What is a cable grommet used for?

Cable grommets are a type of cable accessory designed for use with electrical cable passes. They are usually made of, plastic, rubber or metal and are commonly used when wires need to pass through a panel hole. Cable grommets help to minimise the risks of cable damage by protecting the cable in which they are applied. Risks include sharp edges, chemical and environmental influences and mechanical stress.

The benefits of cable grommets include protecting wires and cables from abrasion and cuts caused by sharp edges, insulating the wires from sharp edges, increasing product durability, providing aesthetic appeal, offering additional strain relief and accommodating specific cable diameters.
