SAE flange covers, also known as SAE flange protectors, are designed to protect and cover machined surfaces on SAE flanged connections. These covers are typically used to protect the mating surface of the SAE flange and threads from contaminants or damage during storage, transport, or installation.
SAE flange covers come in various shapes, sizes, and materials to fit different SAE flange sizes and types. They are made from plastic and feature an internal-locking bead design that provides a secure fit and prevents the cover from falling off. SAE flange covers are an essential component of any hydraulic system as they help ensure the integrity and longevity of the system by protecting its components from external elements.

SAE J518 Split-Flange Covers help protect machined surfaces on split flanged connections. They feature an internal-locking bead design that provides a secure fit, that requires no fasteners.
Manufactured in a natural translucent Polyethylene, so that the O-Ring assembled on the flange remains visible through the cap.
The range includes two series options. The Q Series are used on SAE Code 61 3000 PSI high pressure flanges. The HP Series are used on SAE Code 62 6000 PSI high pressure flanges.
Ensure you select an appropriate protector by first measuring both the Outside Diameter and Bolt Circle Diameter of your flange.
SAE J518 Studded Full Face Flange Protectors are a quick-fit flange protector that provides full coverage. They feature lugs that firmly position into bolt holes to provide a positive fit. No fasteners are required for fitting.
