Cap Nuts, also known as a Blind Nut or a Crown Nut, is a nut that has a domed end on one side. The Domed Cap Nut is used to cover exposed threaded stud, rod and bolt ends with a dome-like cap. This offers protection and safety to the fastening assembly, while also creating a finished appearance to the exposed threaded end.
Our range is made up from Hex Cap Dome Nuts that feature a hexagonal nut shape with the dome or cap that encloses external threads. They are offered with or without a molded-in locking thread for applications which require torque for a more secure assembly.
Flange Nuts feature a wide flange at one end, offering a combined washer function. This design provides even distribution of the nut over the component being secured. Thus reducing the risk of damage, with less likelihood of loosening caused by an uneven surface.
Our plastic flange nut offer is made of natural Nylon 6/6, with a UL94 V2 flame resistance. We have a choice of styles including imperial and metric Hex Flange Nuts, and Self-Threading Lock Nuts. These lock nuts are designed for use with steel bolts. Threads are created when assembled to ensure a secure fit.
Grommet Nuts provide a low cost positive connection to thin gage materials, like sheet metal as well PCB applications, as an alternative to using a standard nut. Our range is made from Nylon 6/6. Also known as a Nylon Screw Grommet; our range has a UL94 V-2 flame resistance rating and is natural in appearance.
Our grommet nut offer features Closed Grommet Nuts, and Square Head Grommet Nuts, which are suitable for round or square holes. The Nylon Grommet insulates areas of assembly from electrical and thermal transfer. Nylon Grommet Nuts provide corrosion and vibration resistance and mount with a self-tapping screw. A nylon grommet eliminates the need for a nut and they are great for blind mounting.
Thumb Nuts are a type of nut with a knurled outside diameter (surface). This design facilitates manual tightening by hand, and also secures the nut into a handle or cover. They are typically used in applications where the fasteners will be removed regularly.

Wing Nuts, commonly known as Butterfly Nuts or a Wingnut, are a type of nut that similarly to Fly Nuts, have two thumb tabs (or wings) on either side of the nuts body. This allows the wing nut to be fastened or removed by hand, with no need for tools. The wings provide additional grip, which makes this process quick and easy.
Our Plastic Wing Nut range features wingnuts that are suitable for imperial and metric threads, including a molded-in locking thread option suitable for applications in need of a higher torque or a more secure assembly.
Material available include; Natural Nylon 6/6 with a flame resistance rating of UL94 V2 and Transparent (Clear) Copolyester that can be used with transparent Polycarbonate (PC) screws.
