Plastic rivets, also known as pop rivets, snap rivets or push-in rivets, are fasteners made from plastic materials. They are designed to securely join two or more components together without the need for screws, nuts, or bolts. They work by inserting one end into a hole or opening in the materials to be joined.
They are frequently employed for tasks like securing panels together, plugging holes, acting as buffers, or securely affixing items such as cable clamps.
Our range is made up of many different types and styles of plastic rivets such as:
Plastic rivets find application in a wide range of industries, including automotive, electronics, furniture, and aerospace. They are commonly used for assembling interior components in vehicles, securing panels on electronic devices, and fastening various parts in household appliances.
One of the key advantages of plastic rivets is their ease of installation, which often requires minimal tools, and therefore easily installed by hand. They are also lightweight and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for environments where metal fasteners may not be ideal. Additionally, plastic rivets are available in different sizes and designs to accommodate various applications.

Ratchet Rivets, also known as Barbed Rivets, Assembly Clips or Snap Fasteners, are comprised of two identical parts that grip together to form a quick and convenient fastening. They act as a special cushioning washer for larger surfaces, and are ideal for rotating applications, such as rotating sheets.
These useful rivets require no tools, screws or other component parts to install - simply snap two of the rivets together by hand to form a single fastening assembly.
Two-part Push Clips that form to hold flat panels together.
The range features Nylon 6/6 snap fasteners that have low profiles on both sides of the assembly. The two parts have teeth that grip to each other for quick and easy fastening that leaves a smooth appearance on both sides.
We also have the pin and keeper parts for sign fastening systems. These male and female fasteners are made from impact modified Nylon 6/6, and are ideal for rapid assembly and disassembly.
Also included are a range of snap tacks that have male tacks and button tacks made from Acetal, and a female retainer made from UL94 V2 rated Nylon 6/6.
Unscrewing Rivets are quick release fasteners, suitable for security panels and components that need to be replaced in a hurry. They can be easily installed, tightened, loosened, and removed using a cross head screwdriver.
Our range includes several material options, including rivets made from Nylon 6/6 that have a cross drive for easy assembly or disassembly. They are ideal for use in electrical and electronic assemblies due to the good electrical insulation properties. The Nylon range extends with high-strength options made from Impact Modified Nylon, offered with a choice of pin material. The Acetal pin option is ideal for solid or hollow materials, including; wood, concrete, metal, plastic, tile block or mortar.
Cinch Rivets are a type of push-in fastener that set without the need for access to the back of a panel.
To install: simply set by pulling the mandrel head into the rivet body, which expands the rivet body and causes it to flare against the reverse side. When sufficient force is applied, the mandrel will snap at its break point.
These Cinch Rivets can be installed using an installation tool, which is available to buy elsewhere.
Snap Latch Rivets comprise of a Plunger made from Nylon 6 and a Grommet made from Polycarbonate (PC). Together they form a Snap Latch assembly for the joining and securing of panels.
To install; simply push the grommet into the removable panel and then the desired plunger into the grommet. When the panel and plunger are pushed into the fixed panel, it locks them together. Pull on the plunger to easily remove the non-fixed panel.
These handy panel fasteners are ideal for applications that require regular maintenance work. They are offered in easy-grip or mini-grip designs to suit an array of panel hole and thickness ranges.
Snap Latch Rivets are ideal for applications, such as; electrical equipment, metal enclosures, telecommunications equipment, appliances, and more.
