Quarter Turn Latches - Wing Knob

Quarter Turn Latch with Wing Knobs are designed to secure doors, cabinets, enclosures, and other access points. They are operated by twisting the knob 90 degrees, which causes the latch to engage or disengage, making them ideal for applications requiring frequent opening and shutting. Each lock comes with an outer sealing gasket and an assembly nut.

It is made to be easy and quick to install by inserting it into the installation hole and tightening the nut. The range of products includes various materials, finishes, and grip ranges that are utilised in various applications, such as electrical enclosures, furniture cabinets, and equipment covers.

Quarter Turn Panel Fasteners

Quarter Turn Panel Fasteners engage receptacles and are fastened by turning the stud about 90 degrees - a process known as a 'quarter-turn rotation'. The fastener provides a predictable holding force and offers a detent in locked position that resists opening in error. A solution that is quick, but secure in its assembly. They are a fast fastener that provide a permanent mounting solution. An ideal choice, suitable for security panels and components that need to be replaced in a hurry.

To install and remove; Use a flat-head screwdriver or a coin and give the fastener a quarter-turn. This releases the bottom panel while retaining the fastener in the removable panel. Alternatively, drive the plunger into the grommet with a hammer that locks two panels together.

Quarter Turn Slam Shut Latches

Quarter Turn T Handle

Cam Latches with compression have a T-shaped handle. They are designed to offer secure access to panels and doors, courtesy of the rotating cam (pawl).

The cam is secured by engaging the frame or keeper on the back side. These latches come with standard technology. Ideally used for cabinets that require better sealing under vibration conditions.

Quarter-Turn Finger Grip Latch

Finger Grip Plastic Quarter-Turn Latches are made from a Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon.

When the lock is opened, the finger grips offer a low profile way to access the application. There are products available with Clip Fixing and Nut Fixing. When the key is turned 90 degrees the cam turns to the locking position. Different head style and grip range options available.

Replacement Cams

A range of Replacement and Alternative Steel Cams are available for our range of Locks. The Replacement Cams are suitable for all standard quarter turns and cam locks. They provide an alternative grip range is used with pre-assembled locks. Cams in this range are additional and all locks throughout the range are provided with the cam stated for each range. There are 2 types of Alternative Steel Cams available. Type 1 is to fit parts 492878 through to 492882 and are zinc plated to prevent corrosion. The cranks cams are used to increase or decrease the effective length of the cam lock. Part 492895 has both a vertical and horizontal hole to allow fitting at all four quarter hour positions. Type 2 offers the same properties as type 1 but is to fit parts 492883 through to 492890

Snap Latch Rivets

Snap Latch Rivets comprise of a Plunger made from Nylon 6 and a Grommet made from Polycarbonate (PC). Together they form a Snap Latch assembly for the joining and securing of panels.

To install; simply push the grommet into the removable panel and then the desired plunger into the grommet. When the panel and plunger are pushed into the fixed panel, it locks them together. Pull on the plunger to easily remove the non-fixed panel.

These handy panel fasteners are ideal for applications that require regular maintenance work. They are offered in easy-grip or mini-grip designs to suit an array of panel hole and thickness ranges.
