Quarter Turn Panel Fasteners engage receptacles and are fastened by turning the stud about 90 degrees - a process known as a 'quarter-turn rotation'. The fastener provides a predictable holding force and offers a detent in locked position that resists opening in error. A solution that is quick, but secure in its assembly. They are a fast fastener that provide a permanent mounting solution. An ideal choice, suitable for security panels and components that need to be replaced in a hurry.
To install and remove; Use a flat-head screwdriver or a coin and give the fastener a quarter-turn. This releases the bottom panel while retaining the fastener in the removable panel. Alternatively, drive the plunger into the grommet with a hammer that locks two panels together.
Our Snap fasteners include a Nylon option that is flame rated UL94 V2, and an option that features a Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) female washer that comes with a Polypropylene (PP) male clip.
The rivet assembly includes the male clip, the female washer that are used to mate two surfaces together. They are an ideal choice for corrugated panels.
Ratchet Rivets are comprised of two identical parts that grip together to form a quick and convenient fastening. They act as a special cushioning washer for larger surfaces, and are ideal for rotating applications, such as rotating sheets.
These useful rivets require no tools, screws or other component parts to install - simply snap two of the rivets together by hand to form a single fastening assembly.
Sheet Edge Inserts provide strong threads for metal sheets that are too thin to be tapped. They are fastened to the edges of thin sheets and are a good alternative to self-clinching inserts.
To Install;
1. Install insert notch into the side of the panel opening
2. Rotate spring leg of insert toward the panel. This compresses the spring leg, allowing it to pass through the notch in the panel
3. Leg will snap back to its normal position, securing the insert into the panel.
Please Note: The internal thread requires a screwdriver for installation.
The insert can be removed after installation, by simply pinching the spring legs together and rotating.
Snap Latch Rivets comprise of a Plunger made from Nylon 6 and a Grommet made from Polycarbonate (PC). Together they form a Snap Latch assembly for the joining and securing of panels.
To install; simply push the grommet into the removable panel and then the desired plunger into the grommet. When the panel and plunger are pushed into the fixed panel, it locks them together. Pull on the plunger to easily remove the non-fixed panel.
These handy panel fasteners are ideal for applications that require regular maintenance work. They are offered in easy-grip or mini-grip designs to suit an array of panel hole and thickness ranges.
Snap Latch Rivets are ideal for applications, such as; electrical equipment, metal enclosures, telecommunications equipment, appliances, and more.
Two part Push Clips that form to hold flat panels together.
The range features Nylon 6/6 snap fasteners that have low profiles on both sides of the assembly. The two parts have teeth that grip to each other for quick and easy fastening that leaves a smooth appearance on both sides.
We also have the pin and keeper parts for sign fastening systems. These male and female fasteners are made from impact modified Nylon 6/6, and are ideal for rapid assembly and disassembly.
Also included are a range of snap tacks that have male tacks and button tacks made from Acetal, and a female retainer made from UL94 V2 rated Nylon 6/6.
Unscrewing Rivets are quick release fasteners, suitable for security panels and components that need to be replaced in a hurry. They can be easily installed, tightened, loosened, and removed using a cross head screwdriver.
Our range includes several material options, including rivets made from Nylon 6/6 that have a cross drive for easy assembly or disassembly. They are ideal for use in electrical and electronic assemblies due to the good electrical insulation properties. Our Nylon range includes options that are UL94 V2 flame rated. The Nylon range extends with high-strength options made from from Impact Modified Nylon, offered with a choice of pin material. The Acetal pin option is ideal for solid or hollow materials, including; wood, concrete, metal, plactic, tile block or mortar. The Zinc Plated Steel option provides excellent thermal and electrical insulation, as well as having a high pullout force. Also available are options made from Polyamide PA6 that are suitable for larger hole diameters and offer a high retention force.
