Self-adhesive bumpers provide cushioning and protection for an array of surfaces, across many applications.
The range includes black adhesive discs with a single-sided foam that has anti-skid properties. Available in packs of four that are either on a roll or on a pad, these versatile discs are designed to bond to many surfaces including; corrugated card, chipboard, wood, low surface energy plastics and powder coats.
Also included are anti-slip pads that are made from PE Foam tape, featuring a silicone coated paper liner. These are suitable for applications with temperatures ranging from -29C up to 66C.
These knurled nuts have a conical design. They feature a knurled outer surface that ensures a secure grip, allowing them to be tightened and loosened quickly and easily without the use of tools. In addition, the textured pattern improves grip, eliminates slippage and ensures a solid hold.
The tapered design also provides greater pressure distribution, resulting in a more even and secure tightening. Its plastic material allows it to withstand repeated use exposed to various weather conditions and resist corrosion or rust. Common applications include electronics, automotive, industrial machinery and switchboards.
Thumb Nuts, also known as Knurled Nuts, are a type of nut with a knurled outside diameter (surface). This design facilitates manual tightening by hand, and also secures the nut into a handle or cover.
Our knurled thumb nut offer features plastic thumb nuts made from Nylon 6/6; a strong, tough and durable material that is ideal for connecting elements and other technical components. It has self-lubricating properties, and is resistant to moisture, vapour and salt water. Operational temperatures can go up to 100 to 120C, temporarily for non-critical parts. Many nylons are self-extinguishing.
Our nylon thumb nut range also includes options made from Nylon with 30% glass fibre compound. This option is resistant to numerous fluids and chemicals, and is ideal for technical products requiring high dimensional stability and durability at higher operating temperatures. It has good strength and stiffness, in combination with good impact qualities. Excellent for heavy duty handles.
We also offer natural Polycarbonate (PC) plastic knurled thumb nuts. The strong PC material provides an aesthetically pleasing joining solution for applications in Retail and Point of Sale, for example.
Our range of Threaded Inserts and Glides come in a variety of options. Inserts are placed into the cavity at the end of pipes and tubes to provide a clean and neat finished appearance. Inserts also offer surface protection, and prevent the ingress of dirt and other contaminants.
These inserts can be used in a range of standard or heavy duty applications, but are ideally used with adjustable feet, tilt glides and castors.
Available are all-metal inserts, and plastic inserts with a metal nut. The metal threat provides a secure fit and allows for smooth repeatable adjustment of the insert. The plastic inserts come either as a single piece or a two-piece moulding. The two-piece mouldings fit neatly together to fit into tubes.
Round threaded inserts are available as quick-fit inserts for tube ends and connecting pipes. They are threaded for secure screw fixing. These threaded inserts provide a stable and secure mounting point for a wide range of furniture and equipment components.
They are commonly used in the manufacturing, packaging and construction industries.
Slotted Plugs are designed with a double sealing ring on the underside of the flange that provides a secure and reliable seal. The design includes five complete threads for a secure fit. Offers protection from dirt, dust, debris, liquid residue and corrision. Head designed not to trap liquid when the plug is secured in place.
These Sealing Plugs are easy to install and remove by hand. The hex head design allows the plug to be applied or removed with a screwdriver, spanner, Allen key or socket. The range covers an extensive offering of dimensions suitable for Metric, BSP, and UNF threads.
Used in various applications, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and general engineering industries.
Square Inserts and Glides provide a finished look and offer protection to the end of square tubing, poles and posts. Two designs available; ribbed for maximum grip that can be used on multiple tube guages or with a plain shank that fits one tube guage specifically, giving you a step lead for easy installation.
Designed to provide a tight fitting connection on a variety of tubular products. Some of the range help prevent against damage to floors or other surfaces, as well as tube protection from external elements.
They come in a variety of options and styles; standard square ribbed inserts, lightweight square inserts, and metallic square inserts. Typically used in furniture and industrial equipment applications. The versatility of materials, finishes and colours provides a choice to maximize the aesthetical appearance and premium fit for your application.
Threaded Plugs with Gaskets are intended to establish a tight and secure seal that prevents dust, dirt, or other undesired components from entering. The inclusion of a gasket (washer) seal improves sealing capabilities, adding an extra layer of protection against leaks and impurities.
Threaded Plugs are easy to install and remove from the application using a straight screwdriver, hex key or wrench. They can withstand temperatures from -30C up to +90C.
Frequently used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automotive, and general engineering sectors.
Threaded Protection Caps for UNF /JIC Threads protect threads and fittings from damage during production, storage, and shipment, ensuring that they remain in good condition and ready for use when needed. The protection cap protects flared and flare less from contaminants like dirt, dust, debris, and moisture out of the hole.
Features a knurled head design that makes them easy to install and remove by hand by twisting them or pushing them in on the pipe or tube. They are ideal for UNF/JIC threads, and if you pick the yellow option, they are made of HDPE and have a long profile, which allows for more threading turns. It can withstand temperatures between Min. -30C, Max. +80C. The range of Protection caps can be used in various applications, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automotive, and industrial applications.
Threaded Protection Plugs for NPT Threads protect threads and fittings from damage during production, storage, and shipment, ensuring that they remain in good condition and ready for use when needed. The protection plug protects from contaminants like dirt, dust, debris, and moisture from the hole.
It may be installed by hand or with a 12-point socket head, screwdriver or wrench. This threaded plug is suggested for usage where strength and abrasion resistance are required since it can tolerate temperatures ranging from -40F to 230F | -40C to 110C. Suitable for Metric threads. Used in various applications, including hydraulic, pneumatic and general engineering industries.
These Wide Flange Threaded Protection Plugs protect threads and fittings from damage during production, storage, and shipment, ensuring they remain in good condition and ready for use. Their nitrile gasket seals the plug to the mating surface for leak-tightness. The protection plug protects from contaminants like dirt, dust, debris, and moisture from the hole.
Its wide flange design keeps any paint flakes from the hole when removed. It is easy to install or remove by hand, screwdriver, or torque wrench. Due to its Nylon material, it is recommended for intermittent temperatures from -40C to +100C. Used in various applications, including hydraulic, pneumatic and general engineering industries.
