Flanged Caps are designed for easy assembly and removal, either with automated equipment or by hand. Typically used to protect metric or imperial threads, with or without O-Rings. The larger flange allows for faster application and removal when using it by hand.
For the purpose of quality control; the natural coloured caps allow you to see through the cap and check whether the O-ring is installed, or not installed, on the protected fitting.
Provides a snug and secure fit.
Rubber Washers for sale at Essentra Components. Designed for use with screws, bolts and nuts - flat washers rubber are an essential component in any fastener assembly. Also known as plain washers, they are the most commonly used washer type. Flat washers do not have a locking function, but instead are applied as protection for mating surfaces, from damage. Our rubber washers, which are often used by manufactures for spacing, buffing, sealing and for locking purposes, provide ideal support to threaded fasteners, particularly in the construction industry. These durable flat rubber washers have excellent anti-vibration and shock absorbing properties, whilst also helping to seal fluids and other liquid connections - and offer superior insulation, particularly within electronic assemblies.
The range includes a Thermoplastic Rubber Washer (TPR) that has improved chemical resistance, sealing characteristics and vibration resistance. These are a great solution for oil, gas and automotive industries. These flat rubbers are manufactured to DIN 125 standard. They also benefit from flame resistance to UL94 HB standard.
We also offer a flat washer made from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), which has high stiffness and fantastic electrical properties - making it ideal for use in a range of electrical assembly applications. This PVC washer provides abrasion and moisture resistance.
Parallel protection plugs are general-purpose plugs that are used to protect a variety of applications.
The thermoplastic elastomer range is recommended for applications where resistance to acid is required. The PVC range is highly resistant to shredding and therefore ideal for threaded applications. The green vinyl range works well with applications where oils and greases are present.
Features a parallel or straight wall design that ensures a secure and snug fit while preventing contaminants, damage, dirt, corrosion, moisture, and debris during storage and transportation.
Push Fit End Caps are a simple and economical way of protecting metric and UNF threads during painting, assembly or transportation. They are manufacured from a soft, durable TPE that provides a better grip and a tight fit. Protects pipe ends from damage, and keeps dirt and debris out.
Easy to install and remove. They can operate in a temperature from -60 C up to 135 C.
Commonly used in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial applications.
Side Pull Plugs are a type of plug that features an intergral side pull tab, and is designed for easy removal in awkward locations. Designed to protect threaded or non-threaded holes during production, storage, and transportation. Offers protection against dust, dirt, damage, moisture, acid, and corrosion.
The side pull tab is designed for quick and easy removal, and provides additional help when removing the part from a tightly fitted application. It can withstand temperatures from -40F to 275F (-40C to 135C).
Used in various applications, including machinery, electronics, automotive, and HVAC systems.
Threaded Plugs with Gaskets are intended to establish a tight and secure seal that prevents dust, dirt, or other undesired components from entering. The inclusion of a gasket (washer) seal improves sealing capabilities, adding an extra layer of protection against leaks and impurities.
Threaded Plugs are easy to install and remove from the application using a straight screwdriver, hex key or wrench. They can withstand temperatures from -30C up to +90C.
Frequently used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automotive, and general engineering sectors.
