Easy-Pull Masking Caps

Easy Pull Masking Caps provide optimum protection for end tip profiles, such as rods, pipes and tubes during manufacturing processes. Typical applications include; anodizing, blasting, powder coating, e-coating, plating and general paint lines.

This range has several style options, include a range with a flanged design and an internal seal that provides a secure fit or options that feature an ergonomic finger pull-tab for easier removal.

These caps are easy to fit; to ensure the best possible fit, the inside diameter dimension should be approximately 10 percent smaller than the outside diameter of the part being masked.

Our range is available in different material options with various beneficial properties. Silicone is a premium masking material with high temperature and chemical resistance. EPDM is a more economical material option with lower heat resistance. Both Silicone and EPDM options can be used multiple times. Whereas, Soft PVC is a more economical solution also with chemical resistance, a reduced heat resistance and is for single-use applications.

  • Materials: Silicone Rubber 600F (316C) EPDM 425F (218C) and Soft Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) 425F (218C)
  • Colors: Natural, Black and Yellow
  • Hardness: Durometer (Shore A) 55 + 5 and 85 +/–2

First Thread Protection Plugs

First Thread Protection Plugs are used to provide masking to the first thread of standard female threads. They feature an ergonomic pull-tab that allows for simple installation and removal.

Suitable for a range of masking applications that include; powder coating. e-coating, plating and anodizing.

The range is available in different material options. Silicone is a premium masking material due to its high temperature rating. EPDM is an economical material with lower heat resistance, but superior chemical resistance. Both material options can be used multiple times.

Grommets - Standard/TPE

Grommet Hole, also known as Hole Grommets, are intalled on the diameter edge of a panel hole or knockout. They protect passing wires, cables, tubes and hoses from damage caused by sharp edges and objects, and chaffing.

Our Hole Grommet range includes Rubber Hole Grommets made from Styrene Butadiene (SBR). The material has a tensile range of 30 to 100psi, and a temperature range between 225F to -50F. These Hole Grommets install instantly by simply and easily snapping into a hole. They benefit from excellent adhesion, and are designed to fit standard sheet metal holes.

Also available are Flexible Hole Grommets that are made from Standard and Flexible Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR), and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE). The Standard PVC material is non-staining, and has resistance to ozone, acids, sunlight and has excellent aging qualities. The TPE options have a flame resistance rating of UL94 HB, with a temperature range from -58F up to 203F. They are also suitable for outdoor use in accordance with UL 746C.

  • Color: Black.

High-Temperature Tapered Plugs

Our range of High Temperature Masking Plugs are available as a solid plug or with a hollow core. These reusable tapered plugs are available as either a premium Silicone Plug or as a cost-effective EPDM plug.

The Hollow Tapered Plugs provide an economical solution for large diameter holes. The hollow center aids compression for improved sealing.

Silicone Tapered Plugs are a premium option due to the high temperature rating of 600F (316C). High Temp Silicone Plugs can be used multiple times. Hardness; Durometer (Shore A) 55+5. Various colour options are available, including; Natural, Blue, Green, Grey, Pink, Purple, Red and Yellow.

The Black EPDM tapered plug is an economical material has a slightly reduced heat resistance with a high temperature rating of 435F (218C), but boasts superior chemical resistance.

  • Suitable applications include; Powder Coating, E-Coating, Plating and Anodizing.

Masking Cones

Masking Cone Plugs are a versatile masking solution that can be used as a plug or as a cap. The tapered design allows the part to plug a range of inside diameter sizes and to cap a range of outside diameter sizes. These plugs are ideal for a range of masking applications, including; powder coating, e-coating, plating and anodizing.

The range is available in a choice of materials that include premium Silicone and economical EPDM. Silicone benefits from a high temperature rating and can be used multiple times. EPDM is also reusable with a lower heat resistance, but superior chemical resistance.

  • Materials: Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) and Silicone Rubber
  • Colors: Black and Natural

Masking Flangeless Plugs

Masking Flangeless plugs are designed to mask holes without masking the surrounding surface area. The tapered design allows mulitple hole diameters to be protected. Ergonomically friendly profile has a pull-tab for easy installation and removal. These come in a premium high-temp silicone material or in a economical reduced temp EPDM material. Applications include Powder Coating, E-Coating, Plating and Anodizing.

Masking Pull Plugs

Masking Pull plugs are ideal for masking threaded and plain through-holes. To apply, just pull the thinner end of the plug through the hole until it stretches the larger end through the hole; then release it so it will compress and make a tight seal. Use the Flanged Pull plugs to mask the backside of the hole. These come in a premium high-temp silicone material or in an economical reduced temp EPDM material. Applications include Powder Coating, E-Coating, Plating and Anodizing.

Masking Straight Caps

These Masking Straight Caps are typically used to mask studs and tube ends. They have excellent sealing capabilities due to the flexible material that they are manufactured from. Ideal applications include; powder coating, e-coating, plating, anodizing and blasting.

Although they are primarily designed fpr use as a cap, if inverted, they can also be used to plug holes.

Available in a choice of two materials; Silicone and EPDM. Silicone is a premium masking material due to its high temperature and chemical resistant properties. EPDM is a more economical material option with a lower heat resistance but superior chemical resistance. Both material options can be used multiple times.

  • Materials: Silicone 60F (316C) and EPDM 425F (218C)
  • Colors: Blue, Black, White, Green, Grey, Pink and Yellow
  • Hardness: Durometer (Shore A) 55+5

Masking Washer Caps

A range of Masking Washer Caps that can be applied as a protective cap for threaded and non-threaded end tip.

Although the product is primarily designed as a cap, the integrated washer masks of grounding and also provides edge protection to ensures that the application hole is safe from contaminants and damage. This highly versatile masking solution can also be inverted and used to plug holes.
