Pop Rivets, also known as Blind Rivets or Clinch Rivets, are a convenient fasteners used mainly when panel access is limited or restricted to one side. This means they tend to be installed on the rear (blind) side of the application, allowing the components to be joined together.
Depending on the nature of the application, a Pop Rivet can also be used instead of welds, adhesives, screws, nuts and bolts. Pop Fasteners permanently fix two materials together. They are ideal for thin applications, and suitable for materials including; woods, metals and plastics.

Push In Rivet, also known as a H Type Rivet, has a bevelled head design. The bevel design helps facilitates efficient assembly and removal.
The rivet is installed by quickly and easily inserting it into the work piece. Press down on the pin, which engages the "H-shaped" grommet. Once the pin is inserted into the grommet, the grommet legs expand and lock the rivet assembly firmly into position. Once the rivet assembly is installed, the head of the pin protrudes from the panel surface, but gives a nice clean and finished look nonetheless.
Countersunk Rivets are used in countersunk holes and other applications that require a flat finish. Their design allows them to sit flush to a surface, meaning the rivet head will not protrude once installed. They are ideal for sliding track applications.
These rivets also benefit from a tamper resistant design and they are able to accommodate countersunk hole specification DIN ISO 7721.

Folding Leg Push-In Rivets have a foldable leg design that provides a secure grip for a range of applications and materials.
Pushing the pin into the rivet body causes the legs to expand outwards, allowing them to get a firm grip on the material in the assembly. The rivet legs expand to a distance of 18.6mm.
This expansion allows the rivet to cover a larger surface area, but as a result has a weaker tensile strength. This makes these rivets more suited to thinner applications, such as cardboard boxes and other porous materials. Once installed, the rivet cannot be removed from the outside of the box.
Heat Sink Rivets are spring mounted. They are used to fasten a heat sink to a processor chip on a PCB. The metal spring provides continuous pressure to the heat sink until thermal adhesive cures.
