Captive Screw Retainer Flange

The captive screw retainer flange is an alternative to either tapping the panel or using a retainer washer. The retainer flange is fixed to the panel by swaging the head into a countersunk hole.

The captive screw is then simply threaded through the flange and is retained in the panel.

The flanges are made from either Stainless Steel which has good corrosion reistance or Aluminium, which has good thermal conductivity.

Flanged Linear Carriages

These Flanged Linear bushing Carriages are used in linear motion systems to guide and support moving parts. It comprises of a steel linear bushing inside a flanged aluminium housing providing a great surface area to mount to.

The aluminium housing helps to keep the weight down whilst the hardened steel balls inside the bushing take the loads and facilitate the movement. Only to be used on hardened linear shafts.

The open bearing carriages are only for use with shaft support rails. It can withstand temperatures from 20C to +80C. However, steel ball retainers can be provided for higher temperature applications up to +120C without end seals. Commonly used in applications such as food packaging machines, printing machines, computers, or tool grinders.

Quadro Carriages

These Quadro Carriages are closed, with self-aligning linear ball bearings, two integrated seals, and a lubrication hole. They achieve accurate and efficient linear motion in heavy-load applications.

It features four linear ball bushings internally, which improves stability and load-bearing capability. It distributes the load uniformly throughout the carriage, minimising deflection and maximising stiffness, lowering the danger of vibration and providing dependable performance even in high-speed applications.

It can withstand temperatures ranging from 20C to +80C. However, by replacing the ball retainers, end plates, and seals it can tolerate temperatures of up to +120C. Commonly used in applications such as food packaging machines, printing machines, computers, or tool grinders.
