Cap Screws - Low Head

This range of Cap Screws are available in a choice of hexagonal drive or torx drive. Hexagonal drives are ideal for precision assembly and are ideally used where less surface area is available. Torx drives provide a positive-engaging, fast-locating technique for transmitting drive torque with less necessary downward pressure. These Cap Screws are available in a choice of two low head options: ultra low head and extra low head.

The first of these options helps reduce the screws overall head height space, which means no countersinking is required, unlike flat head screws. The second option has an extremely low profile, and does not need a countersunk location hole. These screws are suitable for machine and equipment applications, with minimal clearance.

Cap Screws are commonly used with Threaded Captive Washers (sold separately). The screws are made from austenitic Stainless Steel that provides good resistance to corrosion and machinability. The material is a popular choice for construction and automotive applications.

  • Low head reduces the screws head height space.
  • They require no countersinking unlike flat head screws.
  • Corrosion resistance.
Material: Blackened Stainless 303, Blackened Stainless 316, 316 Stainless Steel, 303 Stainless Steel Series Code:

Hex Head Cap Screws - Metal

Hexagonal Head Cap Screws are distinguished by their hexagonal head, allowing easy installation and tightening with a wrench or socket. Made of metal to provide strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, and temperature resistance.

It is used to secure metal parts that must withstand heavy loads, vibrations, or other stresses. Used in various applications, including machinery construction, electrical equipment and automotive.

  • Material: SS, MS
  • Colour: Natural
  • DIN Rated

Hex Head Cap Screws - Plastic

A Cap Screw, sometimes referred to as a Cap Head Bolt, are a type of threaded fastener that is commonly used when making mechanical connections between mating components. The Cap Head Screws ensure the objects are held together securely.

Cap Screws have a large head and a cylindrical shaft with an external thread. The head of the plastic cap screw is hexagonal in shape; these Hex Head Screws are available as either a flat head bolt or with a slotted drive.

Our Hexagon Head Cap Screw range is lightweight and also resistant to corrosion, oil, abraision, and most chemicals.

Our Hex Screw range is available in a choice of plastic materials, including;

  • Synthetic Nylon 6/6 with its has high mechanical strength and rigidity, wear resistance and damping ability
  • Polyamide 6.6 that has good heat resistance, durability and strength
  • Polycarbonate (PC) which is a strong, transparent plastic with great impact resistance
  • Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) with UL rated flame resistance; a material that has a continuous use temperature of 180C, and good chemical resistance
  • Polypropylene (PP), a semi-rigid thermoplastic material with good heat and fatigue resistance
  • Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) with good thermal stability, UV resistance, as well as good resistance from abrasion, high energy radiation, creep, fatigue, chemicals and solvants, and has high dielectric strength.

Our Hex Head Screw colour options include; Black, Light Brown, Clear (Transparent), Maroon, Natural and White.

  • UL94 V0 and UL94 V2 flame rated options
  • DIN and ISO rated options

Socket Head Cap Screws - Metal Standard Head

Socket Head Cap Screws with Metal Standard Heads are used to secure and tighten a connection between two or more pieces of material. The cylindrical metal standard head design has a flat top and a recessed hex socket.

It has high strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. The recessed hex socket ensures a secure grip and high torque transfer during installation.

Installation and removal are easy using a hex key or Allen wrench. Used in industries such as automotive, electronics, manufacturing, and construction.
