Anu-Lok Cap Head Captive Screws

Anu-Lok Cap Head Captive Screws are intended to offer a secure and vibration-resistant attachment, while remaining permanently connected. Features a cap head design that enables simple torque application with tools like hexagonal keys. Anu-Lok 180 (AnuLok) is a reusable nylon patch that works like to a nylon nut. During installation, the nylon patch contracts to fill the gap within the threads.

The specialised retention mechanism prevents complete detachment from the assembly, due to vibration or mechanical stress, while allowing for repeated fastening and unfastening. This feature is useful in applications requiring maintenance or regular access. Applications include electronic enclosures, machinery guards and structural components.

Please note: These screws have a reduced diameter shank and should not be tightened to the recommended torque for an equivalent machine screw of size d1.

  • The screws captive nature complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (equivalent to ISO 4762) that guarantees compliance with safety and regulatory standards, especially in industries where loose hardware may represent a risk.

Heavy Duty Rod Ends - Female

These Female Heavy Duty Rods join two rods, cables, or other components and end with an Integral Spherical Plain Bearing. They comprise a female threaded housing and an integrated spherical plain bearing. The spherical plain bearing supports both radial and axial loads. It allows for angular misalignment, making it ideal for applications requiring flexibility and load-carrying capabilities.

The rod end ball is supported by a plastic bearing shell constructed of glass fibre-filled nylon/Teflon composite. This design assures a rod end that requires no maintenance. Plain-bearing rod ends have minimal initial movement friction and nearly no clearance. Another benefit of the plastic composition is that it can absorb many foreign particles, thus reducing injury.

It offers a long-lasting finish that is resistant to corrosion and wear. The female threaded housing makes it simple to connect to a corresponding component. It can also withstand temperatures ranging from -30C to +60C while maintaining load capacity. Higher temperatures lower load capacity. It is utilised in steering systems, suspension systems, and linkages for automotive, construction, and industrial automation. applications

Shoulder Bolts - Hex Head

These Shoulder bolts, also known as shoulder screws, are a type of fastener with a plain section shoulder in between the head and threaded portion of the screw. The shoulder part is machined to a precise tolerance for locating, fastening, or rotating parts.

It decreases stress concentration and lowers the likelihood of damage or failure. It is also durable, corrosion-resistant, and nonmagnetic. It can handle high loads, vibrations, and harsh environments.

Its hexagonal-shaped head offers a comfortable and stable grip for tightening and loosening the bolt. The hex head shape enables simple torque application with a wrench or socket, delivering a tight and solid connection. It is widely utilised in various sectors, including automotive, industrial, electronics, and construction.
