They are a type of flat cable clamp that is suitable for holding down round cable, ribbon cable, and tubing. Our range includes Plastic Spring Clip Fasteners, or Tension Clips. Made from Nylon 6/6, RMS-01 or Acetal, RMS-14, mounted with M3 or M3.5 screws or rivets. Plastic Spring Clips are widely used within electrical and cable management applications. The offering also includes Steel Spring Clips made from SAE30301 Stainless Steel. Coated in vinyl for protection and insulation. These are mounted with an M3 screw or rivet. Steel clips provide strength and durability, as well as temperature resistance.
This range of Captive Washers has a very shallow thread on the inside diameter. This means they can be screwed on, and once past the threads they will not separate from the captive screw or bolt.
How to install a captive screw and washer assembly;
1) Place the captive screw into the panel hole.
2) Thread the washer on to the screw, beyond the threaded part of the screw, which retains the screw in the panel.
