Anti-Vibration Cylinders

These Cylinders are designed to dampen shocks, and absorb and dissipate vibrations, reducing the impact on surrounding equipment or structures.

By effectively dampening vibrations, anti-vibration cylinders help improve equipment performance, reliability, and lifespan. Furthermore, the dampening action of these cylinders helps to minimise the noise created by vibrations, resulting in a calmer and more comfortable working environment.

They should never be mounted in tension but in even load and should only be utilised in axial or radial directions. They are often used in machinery, compressors, air conditioning units, and light engineering equipment.

  • It dampens shocks, and absorbs and dissipates vibrations.
  • It should never be mounted in tension, but in even load.
  • Used only in axial or radial directions.

Cross Dowel Barrel Nuts

A Cross Dowel Nut, also known as a Barrel Nut, is a specialist nut that is commonly used in aerospace and ready-to-assemble furniture applications.

Cross Dowel Nuts and Bolts are used to bolt thin sheet metal parts to bigger components that are often billet or forged. Barrel Nuts are designed for use with Joint Connector Bolts, where a right angle connection is needed.

Our M6 Cross Dowels are supplied in a Zinc Alloy material for a cost-effective solution, whereas the Cross Dowel M8 Nuts are supplied in Steel, for additional strength. The M8 Barrel Nuts are therefore ideal where heavier applications are required - typically on boards of 22mm thickness upwards.

  • Cross Dowel Barrel Nut Sizes: M6 and M8.

Gripneck Feet

Gripneck Feet, sometimes referred to as Mushroom Glides due to the mushroom-like shape of the foot, are an attractive replacement for stem-castors or stem-feet. Inserted into legs or base of an application, they enable for furniture to be moved about smoothly and easily when needed. They offer more stability than a castor, which are likely to roll back and forth, particularly on tiled or laminated surfaces.

Our Gripneck Foot range features a Black Polyamide (PA) base, or foot, and a Galvanised Steel stem. The Gripneck stem makes installation quick and the smooth PA base provides effortless manoeuvrability.

There are six types to choose from, catering for a variety of application needs. Type 4 has a hollow base.

Joint Connector Nuts

Joint Connector Nuts, are a joint connector made from zinc plated steel that offers supreme protection against oxidation. The steel connector nut have a hex drive that is suitable for an M5 Allen Key - making then quick and simple to install.

Joint Connector Nuts and Bolts are commonly used in combination to connect and join together component parts, such as wooden assemblies, including flat packed furniture or timber framing.

  • Compatible threads: M6 Joint Connector Nut and M8 Joint Connector Nut.

KPR Damping Mounts

Anti-vibration machine mounts featuring a galvanised steel ST37 casing and a natural rubber moulding. These dampening mounts have a 60 shore rubber hardness and break safe options are available in the range. These mounts are available in a mix of types and thread sizes.

Machine Feet - Standard

Our range of Standard Machine Feet made with zinc-plated steel stud and a Polyamide (PA) base, are made to support machinery, electronic racks and conveyor belt applications. The feet have a maximum of 20 degree articulation and can be purchasesd in variants either with or without bolt holes. Additional non-slip pads can be purchased separately when extra friction is required.

Push In Glides

Push In Glides, or Tube Inserts, are commonly used at the base of tubular products like chair legs. The push-fit glide provides protection, not just for the assembly, but more importantly for the surface below. Ideal protection for wooden, carpeted and other floor surfaces.

Our Push-In Glide range has a wide range of material options to choose from, including but not limited to; Polyamide (PA), Polyethylene (PE), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Felt and also Steel; as well as various finishes and colour choices to choose from.

Our offer features numerous styles, including; Domed, Angled, Metal-Pronged, Ribbed, Threaded, Lightweight and Heavy Duty. Plus lots of shapes to suit your application needs, including; Round, Oval, Rectangular and Square.
